Journey South

I was dreading the journey home today after all the stories in the news. I knew I wasn't going to risk driving and so headed for the station for an early train, thinking it would take all day to get to my parents.

It couldn't have gone any better. Bus - on time, easy. Train - on time, plenty of seats. Dad's taxi - reliable as ever. And home in time for lunch. Brilliant.

Now I can sit back and take in the festivities. 11 days... what am I going to do with myself?!
