Dawn at Linlithgow Palace

And it was cold...........

I had an idea to try and do a photo that would be a copy of John Lowrie Morrison's (Jolomo) "Winter Falls on Linlithgow Palace" see here.. This image was used a few years ago as the Scottish First Ministers Christmas card.

The moon is almost full as it is in the picture and I thought that conditions were pretty good. On arrival at the Loch however the moon was firmly behind some clouds and so far to the right of the Palace that it would have been imposible to get it in the picture anyway. Still I got some good ideas for another day..............
