Poor birds

There was a thaw yesterday but over night it froze so it was very slippy out this morning when I went to collect the turkey. It was warmer technically than the last few days but the wind made it bitter and I lost the feeling in my fingers! I feel sorry for the birds who only had a tiny bit of unfrozen Hiz to swim on.
