Eat and Fly

We indulged the appetites of these gulls while at the beach today. I was particularly pleased with this shot: the way almost all of the birds - and action - are seen within the darker right side of the photo with the lovely pohutakawa as backdrop, and empty sky on the left. I really like the open-beaked gull at the bottom, and really love the upside-down one at the top catching the chip (neither worm nor porridge). 8)
