DS and I went to visit some friends in Hull, near the Beverley end, they have a beautiful fountain in the middle of the avenue. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the place is. You can see that there are people with problems there (lots of women with not enough teeth for one thing, a sign of poverty) but Christmas and the snow put a veneer of jollity over the city centre. The fountain in the city centre was iced up, reminded me of ski trips to Bulgaria.

This the son of the house, when he read a text from his girlfriend! love? I think so :)

We travelled back late last night as DS was suffering badly from his allergy to their cat, who is a fluffy bundle of grey fur, sooo cute.
