Biscuits and Not So Lame Pie

Took me about 4 hours to work on these goodies. Dunno if the pie is any good cos I don't like lemon meringue pie but Mr P does. Have been ordered to not eat all the biscuits and take some to my mum's tomorrow. Cooking is exhausting, my arm is killing me from all the stirring and kneading. To all those slaving over a hot stove today or tomorrow I send my sympathy.

Oh, I am aware the meringue is flat, only thing I can put it down to is the bowl being really cold.
