La Nina...

In the heart of La Nina (spanish for "The Nina") i found a momentary sun break. It lasted about 5min - but it was glorious!
This is a great time of Winter - everyone is out and about shopping, eating, drinking with families and friends - excited for the Holidays. Soon that will all go away when we hit late January and have experienced the 50th consecutive day of rain and have not see the sky since October.
These glimpses of sun always remind of of whats to come - spring and summer. The reasons we live in the city - you cant beat it.
So until that time comes - I will continue to stop off at Deschutes and slowly drink through it. Ahhh sweet jubelale - you are my winter crutch and i thank you dearly.
