Bainbridge rocks

We made it to Seattle yesterday - a day late after:

getting the sleeper on tuesday night because we knew our edinburgh - heathrow flight would be cancelled

being unable to contact BA to tell them we were making alternative arrangements to get to heathrow

arriving at heathrow to find we'd been bumped off our flight because they weren't expecting us to make it

getting a booking for the flight the next day

getting a free upgrade to business class.

I woke up at 4.30 this morning and finished the one piece of work that was still lingering - a grant application to MRC.

I just saw an otter coming out of the sea with a fish in its mouth only to have an eagle come down and wrestle it away from it - didn't have my camera to hand though.
