Every year it's the same, I vow I will be organised enough not to have to head into town in the final few days before Christmas and every year, I find myself reluctantly trekking in. Rumours were flying about queues outside Magic & Sparkle from 06.30 this morning and that an argument over a turkey at Asda had resulted in fisty cuffs.

Our trip was relatively pain free as we headed to Eddie's Fish Market, my favourite Edinburgh boutique. We picked up these guys for tea, yum.
