What do you want?

Greetings, fellow Blippers. Leon here (no not the X factor one) luckily. I was honoured and pleased to be asked by Blipcentral to review this weeks blip assignment and write the roundup.

All I want was Benek's selection for the assignment, and most of the entries leant towards the impending. Choosing a selection for this weeks blipblog has been an unenviable task as there are a surprising number of entries, especially for this time for year. I'm not the greatest person for words, so I'll keep this short and succinct; So first thing first - I have to say well done to everyone and I'm sorry if I miss you out or don't mention you.

Surveying over the entries, I read entries hoping and looking for caring, balls, company, rest, health and good fortune in the near future.

As it is winter (here) and approaching the holiday season, there was more than one request for snow and one for a little sun.

More than one blipper was after my own heart in hoping for a new camera, a better lens or a new tripod, some were after better reception, the latest technology or a new toy. There was even a list.

Finally there's always the tune that my mother always used to sing.

I had one final hard decision, which is the choice for next weeks assingment, which after a quick think, I decided on...

It's almost Christmas and we're about to head off home to decorate our trees (via the pub, obviously) so we've decided to run this next assignment for two weeks and set a suitably festive theme. (Leon's proposed theme will be the first in the New Year.)

So your new theme is 'All wrapped up' which will be rounded up by our good elves, sorry, 'selves', on Friday 4th January 2008. Remember to tag your entries 'assignment27'.
