Crows lined up on the fence

Turkey was in the oven cooking. presents were opened and the sun was starting to go down already. So my son and I ventured out for a walk up a county path that I had not been on before. Good to get outside and get some exercise at this over-indulgent time of year.
The snow is still about a foot deep in places, hard frosts every night but bright sunshine today made it look like a winter wonderland - a perfect Christmas day.

We thought that this line of crows looked quite comical - one on nearly every fence post starkly contrasting with the snow.
