Merry Christmas from a fully paid up member! :-)

Our Christmas has been subsidised by these big dirty water bottles.

Our Pipes were frozen on Christmas Eve morn, and beloved had flushed the toilet before he knew.

I was confused and saddened. I couldn't quite get my head round it, but hey -My mum stays 2 miles away, my Nant is less than a mile. We'd cope.

I bought bottled water for drinking, and after Si finished work, we collected water bottles from the Scout Hut, filled them with water and brought them home for the toilet, and washing up.

Christmas Day has not been spoilt by a lack of water, au contrare! Gran supplied showers this monring before breakfast. We have sparingly used water, we cooked on foil trays to save on washing up. Refilled our glasses again and again, instead of getting clean ones. It was all very, very lovely.

Our day was made, by Boy phoning in from USA, from the Hilton, no less, courtesy of Girlfriend's Mum. (Thanks Liz). Both of them looked happy and healthy. Girlfriend confirms he is "American", but still bonkers, which is good.

Dr Who, a nice glass of Baileys and a few nibbles... and now, membership of Blip.

My Christmas is complete.
