Christmas Day

Not the day I expected!

Didn't expect a 5.45am call requesting a cup of tea from The Mother with a power outage ( where did that term come from?)

Didn't expect a Skype call with #1 Daughter projected huge on our chimney breast. That was fun!

Didn't expect to unwrap a nice hat. I was told the shop had sold it.

Didn't expect to be calling the doc out to the Mother. She's having an up and down sort of time at the moment.

Didn't expect #1 Daughter & Husband up here tomorrow but was pleased they are able to as we said we couldn't go down to them.

Didn't expect to desaturate a shot of the Pooley Bridge Pier on Ullswater, but there you go, you got a lot of colour from me yesterday! Here's The Daughter's shot from the other side of the pier.

My expectations were met in good meals and enjoyable company of family and friends!
