What a great day. Just half a day at work, clearing my desk mainly. Then, at noon, out to the Lindsay House in Soho as the guest of friends to partake of some exquisite Michelin-starred food and wine. Headed home on the Tube, which wasn't busy, surprisingly, despite it being around 5pm and rush-hour (it was a very good lunch), to put my feet up and relax.

No more work till January - hoorah!
