Catching the sun

Today was our last full day in Kerala. Tomorrow we will be up early and flying to Dubai.

It has been another lovely and fascinating day. This evening a private barge arrived and we went for an hour long trip on the water. We were not at all sure if we would be on the water for sunset. We were, and the skipper arranged for us to be near the Chinese fishing nets as the golden ball of the sun dropped in the sky. Many images were shot, with fingers and toes crossed that we would have chosen the best exposure values.
