The wooded skyline ....

At this time of year, I always stop to admire the skyline in this valley - the way the beech trees are silhouetted against the sky, with the Downs in background gently reflecting their contours ...

I had planned to take a snowy winter version of this blip but I couldn't work out where I had taken it from - its extraordinary how the landscape is transformed by the seasons .... A blip for another day ...
