Tracks in the snow

I can only think they are deer tracks but this deer is very elusive, if that is what it is. I've put a couple of shots of the prints with a lens cap for scale - anyone good at animal tracks?.

The patio here is adjacent to the house. The tracks come down off the raised beds around the patio, circle the table (which is 20ft or so from the house) & then exit the patio and go off up the path back up the gardens.

Because of the route it took it must be a relatively small deer (if it is a deer) - there is not a lot of space between table & edge of the raised beds.

Edited to say, my garden is surrounded by other gardens & lots of houses. No idea how this beastie is getting in...
