shivers
Wow.. Today has been absolutely fantastic from a photographic experience.
This is probably the most difficult day so far to pick a blip.
We had a hard frost last night, and it was really cold and icy when I went out this morning.
The big lake was almost completely frozen over, looking very beautiful in the sunshine. Some nice blips of that here and here
My luck was in big time today, I walked in on "my" elusive egret sat in the river looking really frozen. He either has got used to me stalking him or he was simply to cold to flap away when I turned up. So I took advantaged and took loads of pictures.
The bird feeders near by were busy too, blue tits and great tits stuffing themselves to keep their energy levels up. So many nice pictures of them too here and here
When I wandered over to the smaller lake, which never seems to freeze, asumingly under water currents keep it open, I found some new comers, a pair of shovellers. shovellers
Later, this afternoon, me and the lovely daugther took the car to Stonehenge, hoping for some sunset pictures, but it was just bitterly cold. It's still an amazing place though. Stonehenge
