Frozen Severn

The river Severn in Stourport is frozen.
Stourport is in Worcestershire.
And the river hasn't since the 1940s and before then in the 1920s.
No one I know can remember it freezing.
So while it may not look like much in the photos this is such a strange thing to observe. And I'm glad I braved the bitter cold to get some shots - who knows when it will happen again!
