Wetlands

Went for a short walk today and found that the rain had created lots of little pools and rivulets amongst the long grasses, decaying leaves and rocky outcrops. Love this picture framed by the bright green of the salal leaves. This is about the only hint of vibrant colour at this time of year other than the deep red of some leaves and the almost neon green of the moss on the maples. Picked this one in the end for the flowing water.
