Dog Sledding in Whistler

Dog Sledding - the MOST fun I have EVER had.

Note "dog", not husky. These are cross breads. They have the speed of grey hounds and the agility of huskies. They make better animals as well, not only are they great work dogs but they make really friendly pets too.

The place is run by a lady called Jamie. She used to have a proper job in the city, making lots of money but hated it. So one day she gave it up, moved to the mountains and now has 50 plus dogs.

We went for run with the dogs, before having a go at controlling the sledges ourselves. We even tipped over twice.  Wet and cold but so much fun. 

We went for 3 hours, but we could have done it all day. An experience of a lifetime.

Can't see me ever having a boxing day like this again.
