Spiral

The broom pods have been crackling in the sun all day in the paddock next to my house...

Broom is a HUGE pest and its a constant battle to keep it out of my wee 1/4 acre Kiwi paradise... I'm not any kind of gardener but I know enough not to want broom! ... wish the owner of the paddock felt the same!

Still the way some of the seed pods split all spirally is kinda interesting (not sure if 'spirally' is a word but nevermind!)
