Stairway to Heaven

I thought about this one a little bit after an earlier attempt at achieving some kind of effect by adjusting levels in different partso of the picture. I quite like this one, although I wouldn't say the case is closed.

Edit - Tried to change the aspect ratio a bit (and put a bit more definition into the first two steps -thanks).
