Broken brolly on Boxing Day

I haven't had a chance to edit this...so may do so when I get home. It is the Black Cart Water as it runs therough Paisley. It isn't often rivers freeze around here and I think the breaking-up of the ice actually gives more of a sense of cold than a smooth surface would; you can see the thickness. And the broken brolly adds to the sense of grinding forces.
