Today the roads were finally clear enough for us to drive into Brussels where my sister wanted to practice the tourist sport of Serious Chocolate Shopping.

I will never forget the looks on my 12-year-old twin nieces' faces as they tasted their first ever gaufres au pralinés, or warm waffles filled with molten chocolate-praliné at the Galler shop on the Grand'Place.
