Thaw

We took ourselves off to Morton Loch this morning for a walk with the dogs and to see if we could spot some birds and play with the new lens.

The plan was totally foiled by the thick mist hanging over the loch and the fact that the loch was totally frozen over. Not a single piece of wildlife to be seen. However, we warmed ourselves with a coffee whilst sitting in the hide and the dogs seemed to have a good time regardless :)

On the plus side it looks like there is a thaw on the way, the snow and ice is softening and starting to melt as you can see in the image :) It would be nice to see some greenery again - its been a while!
