The Crown at Roecliffe

We headed home from West Winds a day early to avoid the heavy snow forecast for tomorrow. We had arranged to have lunch at The Crown at Roecliffe with Matthew, Ol, Rob, Iain, Rick and Lili. It was a very Christmassy place to have lunch. Very cosy ambience in a picturesque village near Ripon. We continued our journey home at about 4pm and stopped at Southwaite so Orla could have some dinner. We didn't need anymore as we'd had so much for lunch. Orla fell asleep in the car and quite happily fell into bed when we got home.

We watched Doctor Who recorded from Christmas Day and were so impressed that I think we're now fans. We'll be series linking Doctor Who from now on I think.
