Mt Dromedary Summit Gum Trees

Today we got up early and headed out to Tilba Tilba. The reason was to walk up Mt Dromedary, it is graded a hard walk......my legs now confirm the grade and agree!!

The walk was pretty steep and unrelenting, pretty much constantly going up !! 5 hours in total !

Towards the top the path was a wee bit hairy but we made it to see the slightly underwhelming view....bit of a disappointment !! Too many trees in the way to see the coast line properly!!

This part of Australia is really interesting due to the real contrast of rolling green hills and beautiful countryside right next to the coast !!

Anyways afterwards we headed to Central Tilba to the Mt Dromedary Hotel for a few beers and some pub grub.

Home again now....probably a early night, planning a day at the beach tomorrow followed by a evening cruise to Montague Island for some seal/penguin spotting !!
