Koumpounophobia

Fear of buttons. Strange. Whacky. Surprisingly common.

Often people find that plastic buttons are worse than metal ones and four-hole buttons worse than two-hole. Or that loose or dangling buttons are worst of all. And apparently most sufferers find buttons disgusting, even vomit inducing rather than actually scary. It is not understood where this phobia comes from as it usually starts from very young childhood.

Me, I love buttons and have a little collection as you can see. Apologies to any koumpounophobes that come across this accidentally but I am guessing they will not click on the thumbnail!
