Misty Reflections

'Mad Dogs and English Girls go out in the Foggy Gloom'. It felt like that this morning. Fed up of not having any clear weather for the last couple of days to try out my new lens that Santa kindly brought, I got up today and thought to hell with it ... I'm off out whatever. Decided to drive the 20 minutes to Chatsworth to see if anything was worth capturing. By the time I got there the fog was accompanied by that annoying drizzly rain and even the Chatsworth car park attendant mumbled something along the lines of 'you people must be mad!'

Anyway, after trekking across the murky muddy ground to the river my effort was rewarded. Some nice shots of icy weirs and rocks. But due to the very still, cold, foggy air the river further along was as still as glass, and I was very pleased that my drizzly foggy trek had been worth it to capture this tree and its reflection in the icy water.

By the time I got home the fog had cleared and there's blue sky and white fluffy clouds now ... that'll teach me for being so hasty! But then again, if I hadn't made the effort I wouldn't have captured this.
