Baking some cakes.

Had the grandchildren this morning, they came down to decorate the tree, but when the two eldest had the choice of baking cakes, the tree was forgotton !!
This is Jule concentrating on getting the mix into the cake cases, note the use of her finger, as all good cooks do ! Luca is carefully measuring out the flour for the next batch, important work, as he informed me. They were a success and were eaten or taken home with them. The children loved it and want to bake again when they next visit. We have got them on Xmas morning, so we will have a hectic time with opening presents etc. Can't wait!! Will be great !!
