The Chilterns
Our whole drive back from Brighton was in fog, and traffic, apart from this small chink in the Chilterns. I normally love this bit of the journey because of the spectacular red kites wheeling up above, their huge wingspans and striking tails so dominating in the sky. Not many of them about today - perhaps they are hunting turkeys instead.
