#1 priority on arrival at your holiday home is to?

.... unload your beer fridge! Just a Kiwi trait? Probably not.

We arrive for a few days stay at Lake Rotoiti (the one near Rotorua) where my husband's sister has a lovely holiday home. Although I have been to Rotorua many times, I hadn't visited here. What a great spot - short walk to lake, lovely sunny deck, friendly border collies and the anticipation of a very large gathering Xmas Day!

But of course a few chores to do first.

Lovely to have our family including my mum with us (although missing you very much Kariba).
