Balcony Beam Cast in Concrete

So, following on from the entry on 8th December, here's the beam being cast.

The stainless steel shoe running along the centre will eventually hold sheets of glass forming a see-through balustrade screen.

And when the beam is rendered and painted it should look just like the white 'belt' shown on the computer simulation on the title page (click on 'Stealth House' above right).

I shall very much enjoy posting an entry showing the real thing!
