ET VOILA - ONE I PREPARED EARLIER

And here's the balcony beam all tidied it up and polished (see entries for 8th and 10th December).

The beam and block floor has also been completed.

Shame about the scaffolding and the plastic sheeting but, believe me, there really is a stunning view out there which I look forward to gazing at next Christmas whilst standing on this balcony.

It will, by the way, not be surfaced in stone or decking but rather it will be infilled with hoggin and gravel. This will be a continuation of the garden path abutting the end of the balcony which grows out of the hillside.

Plants such as Alchemilla mollis, Verbena bonariensis and Foeniculum vulgare 'Purpurea' will be encouraged to self-seed in the gravel thus blurring inside/outside.
