Fernie Vs a Stair Gate

You would think fernie Vs a (travel) Stair Gate
Wouldn't be too much of a tale,
I mean what hope has one child,
got of winning a battle against a (travel) Stair Gate,
well rethink the situation,
putting fernie into the equation,
and you have a whole different story,
Take one just every so slightly annoyed fernie,
who is placed in lounge,
behind said stair gate,
take one poor unsuspecting stair gate,
one unsuspecting mummy
behind stair gate, kitchen side,
and you have one very bad scene....
fernie, just a tad p*ssed off,
backs up, checks out the stair gate,
backs up a bit more,
then runs full pelt, arms out,
face in deep concentration,
one petrified stair gate,
decides not to battle child,
relents under weight,
one mummy gets flattened,
whilst one fernie triumphantly
walks into kitchen tongue out,
looking like the cat that's got the cream.......!!!!!!!!
I think we need a brick wall instead...
(do they come with hinges and a padlock?!!)

On another note,
this is one of fernies not so good idea xmas presents,
we no longer have a lounge,
instead we have this!!
But as you can see she loves it, as do I!!! I know were I'm kipping next time the hubby snores!!!
