A sublime night's sleep in the Puli, followed by their fabulous breakfast. Then out to walk around the canal rings of Amsterdam, stopping for regular hot chocolates and Heinekens. Into and out of shops before lunch in De Prins, quick nap back at the hotel, then dinner in old favourite Burgers Patio in the Jordaan. Food to die for. All three restaurants we ate in in 1999 are still open - a good sign...
