Door
After buying paracetamol, a large bottle of water and a small cup of coffee, I wandered around the city centre and took this shot of one of the doors to the Cutlers' Hall.
I have blipped parts of this building before, but it's worthy of repeat visits. Sections of it date back to the 13th and 14th centuries, when it was a Dominican friary. It was used by the cutlers' guild after the reformation and as a school by the Quakers from 1845. It is now a restaurant.
This door goes back a few years, although I'm not sure quite how many. I just liked the detail and was left wondering just how many hands had grabbed hold of the ring to let themselves in?
