Leaf & Shadows

Another sporting debacle greeted me this morning as I watched Stoke City lay siege to Fulham's goal. If they were still playing now, I very much doubt whether the ball would find the back of Fulham's net.

Stoke don't do too well at coming back from two goals down. Oh well.

When it came round to four o'clock this afternoon, I really didn't fancy wandering the streets of Riverside. I think this cold weather is making me lazy. Perhaps, I am just lazy, period. :-)

With the sun casting long shadows on the back deck, I figured I could get something decent in-house, as they say, although it was out of the house. :-)

This leaf and its juxtaposition to the shadows of the deck furniture caught my eye and the Ricoh high contrast B&W mode did the rest.
