A Terrific Day

A great day today...

Took my mom to the airport...she will be sorely missed :(
Spent almost 3 hours at a bookstore so the kids could spend their Christmas gift cards
Had a nice uneventful (well almost) lunch out with the kids
Naptime
Taking down of some Christmas decorations...we will probably leave the lit trees on the hearth at the request of the kids

I LOVE seeing my kids intense interest in books...they absolutely love to "read" and look through just about any book. Today was the first time at a bookstore when we could spend as much time as we wanted without having to hurry out the door...and it helped we had quite a few gift cards to use :) Thanks Grandma and cousin Hank...the best gift you could ever give!
