The Gloom

Wikipedia tells me that when you can see 200 metres it must be mist rather than fog!

Well we must have gone through both today.

This was taken in 50 acre wood on a mountain bike ride this morning. It was damp, extremely muddy and somewhere between mist and fog.

50 acre wood is part of the Timberland Trail which, given it's just over the Clifton Suspension Bridge is a great trail to have so close to a city centre. Apparently plans are afoot to provide upgraded trails, a bike shop/cafe in the near future - we shall see..

Took this shot using my phone and haven't had a chance to improve upon it during the remainder of the day.

Nice to have a post Christmas blast to burn off some of that Chocolate Orange, Christmas Cake and the several kilos of turkey consumed!

Managed to break my bike about 5 minutes after this was taken..!
