King of the Castle

After dinner tonight we took the kids (aged 5 and 3) for a walk up Mount Vernon. This is the 3 year old being King of the Castle.

In the background is Lyttelton Harbour, and you can see Quail Island, which I often paddle around. You can even just barely make out, just off shore on the far right of the island, a dark smudge which is the wreck of the Darra.
