The wood floor has been refinished (by another company). Truly a long story that I am so glad is behind us.....

A new spot of carpet has been laid.

Our couch is moved back in.

And my husband and I shared a cuddly moment near a warm fire with a nice glass of wine.

Him: What are you doing?

Me: I'm taking a picture of my wine.

Him: Why?

Me: Because I see things.

Him: Oh.

Me: And when I see things, I need to photograph them.

***Had a great evening with great friends tonight. Our annual 'Christmas Celebration' together. Sometimes it is a brunch, a lunch, some years it is even a linner (lunch/dinner). Tonight, it was a delicious enchilada dinner with bacon infused black beans......yes, I said bacon.
