postcard scenery

We have very loose plans for our time in New Zealand and we are basically just driving around checking out different places. Today we chose to drive to Ohakune based on a postcard that Eccu saw somewhere. It turned out to be a great idea: there are very little other tourists here and the landscape is very beautiful with the Mount Ruapehu looming in the background.
