Death of a Fuchsia

Fuchsia, as we all know is a vibrant, healthy red colour and the last time I saw this one it was no exception to the rule. Then the snow came, along with the prolonged sub zero temperatures. The day before yesterday the snow finally fell off our fuchsia bush in the front garden, to reveal.........this. All the leaves turned muddy brown and all the blooms likewise and looking like this. The big question now is, is it dead? It sure looks like it, but we won't dig it up just yet. The wonder of nature is the way things keep on bouncing back.
