The two-car family
When we acquired our second beardie, we knew that we needed a bigger car, and that is when we bought a Roomster. It lived up to its name, giving ample room for the dogs, for us and for all our luggage when we went away on holiday together.
Molly, however, decided that the back of this car was an ideal place to live. Most days, if the boot was open, she would happily jump in and stay there until it was time for the next pheasant-hunt or mealtime. Jess had always been wary of getting into the car. If we were all going somewhere together, we could usually only get Jess in by putting her on the lead and persuading her to jump.
Today is hoovering-day again. This time, although there is still snow on the ground, the air is much warmer. So we let them out of the conservatory and opened the Roomster. Surprisingly, Jess grabbed it first, and we had to open the other car for Molly!
