Christmas in France

On Christmas day I took the camera out for a walk and offered to take a portrait of our curious, bovine neighbours. They were very obliging until I stepped too close and then they were off in a flash. Maybe they could smell what was cooking back at the cottage.

Christmas day was lovely, we sat around the fire and swapped presents. My family had sent presents down especially and I was inundated with all new things that were brand and spanking.

In the evening we sat down to some beef wellington and champagne. A bit of bubbly always gets me merry, more so than other alcohol. I love it.

Happy holidays.
