Death and Life

I went for a walk on a dry torrent today, and came across this. The whole area was covered with dead leaves, and here was this little plant struggling to grow (and doing good I must admit). More than this, it was in a spot with no leaves which made the area around it brighter and making it stand out optically even more..Here is the little plant, a winner of life!
