Waiting for the sun to set

Why?
Well, we were at a turtle hatchery where eggs, found by volunteers are getting the chance to hatch.
Also they pay the fishermen a bit more than restaurants and in this way they have a bit more chance to survive.
When the turtles are a few days old, the are set free in the ocean.
We had to wait for the sun to set because (sea)eagles were circling around and the turtles would not have a chance to survive when they are set free by daylight.
