X is for xyloid

It has been a challenge just to blip the last few days, the weather has been dull and we have been busy with seasonal festivities. On top of that I have been doing this rediculous alphabet thing!

In the neighbouring field there is an ancient twisted beech, so I give you xyloid; woody.
